Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are there any requirement for membership at NCF?

A: Yes. To place member ship at NCF, you must have surrendered your life to follow Jesus Christ. This means that you have accepted Him as your Savior, have been baptized by immersion, and you are following Him as the Lord of your life. You must also be in agreement with New Covenant's doctrinal statements, strategy, and structure.

Q: If I have already received Christ and have been baptized by immersion in another Church, will I have to be baptized again to be a member?

A: No. We believe that you are baptized into God's family and not a particular Church.

Q: Do I have to be a member to serve at NCF?

A: Many of the ministry opportunites at NCF do not require you to be a member. There are some, however, which do require membership. As a general guideline, membership is required to participate in leadership roles at NCF as well as to participate in congregational voting.

Q: Once I become a member, am I a member for life?

A: Members who do not attend or contribute to NCF for three months without valid reason will be considered inactive and will have no voting privileges. After six months of inactivity, they will be dropped from the roll. In the event the dropped member becomes active again, they will be accepted back into the congregation after three months of faithful attendance, giving, and their voting privileges will also be restored.
